Push up to my body, sink your teeth into my flesh. Get undressed, taste the flesh. Bite into me harder, sink your teeth into my flesh. Pass the test, taste the flesh. Hold me up against the wall. Give it till I beg, give me some more. - Simon Curtis - Flesh
AU: Derek breaks up with Stiles before he goes off to college. When Stiles returns to Beacon Hills for the first time since college, he’s not sure if Derek would want to see him.
When Derek finally realizes that there’s nothing left for him in Beacon Hills, he goes back to New York, gets a life, falls in love and finds his home.
“Yeah, I just- I don’t know. I wanted to tell you.” Stiles sounds confused by this. “I haven’t even told Scott yet. Isn’t that the weirdest fucking thing you ever heard? Like on a scale of one to were-lizard, this is like a unicorn.”
“You’ve stopped making sense again.”
“I know,” Stiles sighs. “I do that. What happened tonight, it wasn’t real, is all, before I told you. Now it is. Jesus. I had sex. Why the hell am I telling you this? I should be telling Scott.”
“So call him.”
“I don’t want to. I want to talk to you. This big life thing happened and as soon as it was over, all I could think about was telling you.”
Sterek AU | Stiles was hurt during a run in with another pack and Derek naturally can’t stop blaming himself.
“Go to sleep, Derek.”
“I’m serious, i can feel you doing your creepy watching-me-while-i-sleep shit.” Derek sighs. Stiles can feel him fidgeting next to him. ”Derek…”
“You’re not sleeping either.”
“I would, except my boyfriend won’t stop thinking so loudly.”
“Not for that.”
“I know. Now shut up and let me sleep.”
STEREK AU: Over the last two years, Beacon Hills Hospital has become quite famous. All because of the charming and talented cardiologist Derek Hale. But charming, polite and gentle are only words used by his patients. Among his colleagues the nicknames are quite different… Grumpy, cold, snappy crabby, cranky, difficult. But two new very distinctive nicknames manage to get Derek’s attention: Sourwolf and Hottiehale. He doesn’t mind, not really. People still have consideration and respect for his work, so what else can he wish for? All he wants is to be left alone to do what he knows best. Enter the hyperactive intern Stiles Stilinski, that has been stalking him for the last two months.
“Dr. Hale, wait!”
“What do you want Stilinski?”
“That kid is mine, why don’t you let me scrub in with you?”
“That kid is not yours, he’s not some dummy doll where you can practice!”
“What? No─ that’s not what I─ Look, I just really want to scrub in on this case. Please! I promise I won’t─ like ruin your job or something. I’ll just be there watching and learning. I want to learn.” It feels like surviving a thunderstorm, once he stops talking and his hands stop moving.
“You’re on McCall’s service, why would I let you scrub in with me? What’s so special about this kid?”
“Eh─ well, he was on my watch. Melissa─ I mean, Dr. McCall said that I could scrub in with you. If you let me, that is.”
“No,” he says before turning away to check the pile of charts. The intern follows him and grunts, but remains silent until─
“I could take care of those.”
“Those charts. I’m good at organizing stuff, even Lydia gets impressed. I mean─ Dr. Martin appreciates it.”
“Are you bribing me?!”
“No─ I─ oh, come on Derek, don’t be such a─ oh my God I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to! I─ I just really admire your work, Dr. Hale.”
Derek sighs, “I thought you were picking Pediatrics.”
“I still haven’t decided. I love kids and Dr. McCall is awesome. Plastic Surgery seems cool, but Peter creeps me out. Oh my God, not again. I’m so sorry! I know he’s your uncle and I didn’t mean to─”
“Relax,” Derek snorts. He ponders this for a while. Why shouldn’t he give a chance to the boy? He seems… “Okay, I’ll switch you with Reyes.”
“Are you serious? Really? Are you going to let me scrub in?!”
“Go, before I change my mind,” he tries to ignore the way the intern is practically jumping with joy.
“Yes, going. I’m disappearing right now. You won’t even remember this. I mean─ I hope you do─ Okay, going.”
Derek rolls his eyes as Stilinski turns to leave.
“Oh and Stilinski?”
“Hmm?” The boy turns with such lack of grace that Derek doesn’t know how he doesn’t stumble on his own feet.
“I really hope that chocolate in your pocket is for you and not for Michael.”
Derek knows he got it right when Stilinski’s face turns red.
“Of─ of course!”
“Don’t get too attached,” he says before turning to his charts.
Derek jumps out of his skin when a strong hand is placed on his shoulder.
“I know he’s in good hands,” Stilinski smiles and Derek can’t really avert his eyes from his mouth, “Oh and you can call me Stiles. Stilinski is my father.”
Derek doesn’t even have a chance to focus on a proper reply. Stilin─ Stiles spots the intern on Argent’s watch in the elevator and runs to him. Derek is about to go back filling the charts when Stiles’ amber eyes turn to look at him. A broad smile stamped on his face is the last thing Derek sees before the doors close. His heart stops and that’s when Derek realizes how doomed he is.
